Ghazi first came on the music scene with a band called "The Vibes" in 1994. A keyboardist and an avid composer he left the band in 1996 to pursue his own individual aspirations. He moved to Houston, Texas and established an audio production house called "The Vibes Audio Interactive". Teaming with Hash the duo are working on various projects together including Ghazi the Band’s self titled debut album “Ghazi”.
Ghazi paints an honest picture of himself and the world as he sees it, amidst a truly diverse blend of musical influences, from traditional ethnic melodies to pop, from trance to electronic dance. The result is an incredibly ambitious electronic record. His work strongly advocates his inclination towards trance and a fusion of eastern melodies. The upcoming albums as heard by some have been deemed very progressive.
His love for electronic music started with pioneers like 80's synth-pop acts like Depeche Mode and Pet Shop Boys, followed up by the early releases from acts like The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers. In 1997 he discovered trance & house, and since then he's been a loyal follower of this scene, though in later years his taste has developed more and more towards progressive sounds.
Ghazi started producing electronic music in 2005, and today he works in the fully equipped Ghazi Studios. Currently on the projects "The Movie Mookitab’s title track Sochta Houn", "TMB’s debut album" and a collaborative remix record "Tanhai". Ghazi has also produced tracks for Kavi the Band. Ghazi has always held his post, his battle stations: playing the keyboards and keeping the flame of the dance philosophy burning. Over one thousand and one uncertain nights; and now, upon his ascendancy, Ghazi delivers “Ghazi the Band”.

A former keyboardist-turned-guitarist; He was an underground artist that launched his first single "Faryaad" in 2003. Hash formed the band Irtiash (Vibrations) in Seattle which consisted of him on acoustic guitars and vocals and Arsalan Bukhari on bass. They performed at various venues from 2003-2005. Their mellow covers and acoustic tunes earned them the spotlight in the music scene. Soon their band expanded with the addition of a session guitarist and drummer.

Apart from performing private shows within the city, their major successes included their 1st formal opening gig for Strings in Nov 2003, the Seattle University Battle of the Bands in 2004 in which they won the prestigious 3rd position among many bands, and doing the opening performance for Quadstock, Seattle University's biggest event of the year. They had the honors to open for bands like The Roots from California, Divorce, and many other local bands from Seattle.
Hash started shifting gears in his solo career and did side projects mastering his music skills with home recordings and audio production. He departed from the music scene in late 2004, and now he emerges in Houston forming "Ghazi the Band" with Tauseef Ghazi to bring their talents together to create music that is entertaining yet challenging, harmonious although complex, and demonstrative of a synergy between the musicians that transcends their individual excellence and musical styles.
